“Changing our community through grandparents’ eyes”
Grandparents Around The World Productions Inc. (GATWP) was founded and incorporated in 2005 by Evern G. Randolph. It was created to build awareness of the importance of the elder generation to our present day society.
Based on the immensely nurturing and teaching relationship that Ms. Randolph enjoyed with her grandmother, Ms. Randolph was inspired to tell the story of how elder generations around the world were going unnoticed by writing a play in 2004 entitled “Dinner at Grandma’s”. The play was an immediate hit and has developed a robust, multicultural following over the past several years.
Encouraged by the overwhelmingly positive response to the play, Ms. Randolph formally launched Grandparents Around The World Productions Inc. To date, Grandparents Around The World Productions Inc. has touched the lives of thousands of people throughout the tri-state area and as far as Peru, Jamaica, Ireland, Puerto Rico, Africa and Canada.
