Grandparents Ball - created in 2005, the Grandparents Ball is a recognition program for grandparents. Our goal is to recognize grandparents who are making contributions to their family, church and/or community. This annual event is held in June in a community centers, Salvation Army facility or church. Grandparents who are nominated by family (or “like family”) members, community groups are adopted into the organization and receive recognition and/or achievement awards from Grandparents Around the World Productions Inc. and local legislators at a grand ball. To date, 47 grandparents from as far as Peru, Jamaica and Canada have been recognized and adopted.
